Product Return (RMA) Shipping Guidelines
Product Return (RMA) Shipping Guidelines & FAQ
To ensure your returned products arrive safely and are processed without delay at Sinpro Electronics, please carefully read and comply with the following packaging, structural protection, and shipping guidelines for switching power supply (SPS) units prior to dispatch.
Q: What are the packaging and shipping precautions when returning products to Sinpro for repair or evaluation?
Ans: To streamline engineering diagnosis and prevent any transit damage, please strictly adhere to the following shipping and packaging guidelines:
- Obtain and Verify the RMA Number: Prior to dispatch, please contact your designated Sinpro sales representative to obtain an official Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. The RMA number must be indicated clearly on the outer carton (e.g., adjacent to the shipping label). Packages arriving without authorization or a legible RMA number may be refused and returned.
- Return the Power Supply Unit Only: To optimize our engineering diagnosis efficiency, please send the switching power supply unit (SPS) only. Do not include system loads, external cabling, chassis, or any peripheral accessories unless explicitly instructed otherwise by our technical support team.
- Proper and Secure Protective Packaging: Please use the original packaging materials or equivalent protective packing to fully prevent any physical or electrical damage during transit. Please adhere to the structural packing requirements below:
- Bad Packaging (To Be Avoided): Disorganized stacking, lack of cushioning, or lack of dividers. This loose component packing can easily lead to severe structural damage or secondary impact defects during transportation.
- Good Packaging (Mandatory): Securely pack the products in an organized array using dedicated dividers for individual isolation. This structural protection ensures each power module is completely immobilized and safe from impact.

Q: Who is responsible for the shipping charges and repair costs? How do the warranty terms apply?
Ans: Logistics and repair responsibilities are strictly determined by the warranty status of your product:
- In-Warranty Repairs: The customer shall prepay all inbound shipping charges to route the defective unit back to the Sinpro facility. Upon inspection, if the issue is verified as a manufacturer defect covered under our standard warranty agreement, Sinpro will cover the return shipping charges back to the customer.
- Non-Warranty / Out-of-Warranty Repairs: For products outside the warranty period or damaged due to improper field application/environmental factors, the customer is fully responsible for both inbound and outbound shipping costs. Upon receiving the unit, Sinpro will perform a technical evaluation and submit a comprehensive cost estimate for your approval prior to proceeding with any repair work.
