HPA65A

65W Medical & I.T.E. Desktop Switching Power Supplies

The HPA65A series is an IP22/IP54 desktop power supply designed to offer 54W-65W continuous output power with a single output of 8V-48V. Featuring a Type A AC inlet (IEC320 C14) and Class I operation, these switching power supplies are certified for both medical and ITE applications, making them ideal for medical tablets, respiratory devices, video conferencing systems, and more.

Description

The Sinpro HPA65A series is a high-performance family of desktop external switching power supplies designed to deliver 54W to 65W of continuous output power with a single output voltage range from 12V to 48V. Engineered with a universal input voltage range of 70-264 Vac, this series operates at an impressive energy efficiency of up to 89%. Built to withstand demanding environmental conditions, these heavy-duty power adapters operate reliably across a wide temperature range from -40 to +70°C, support a high-altitude operational capability of up to 5,000 meters, and meet both IP22 and IP54 ingress protection standards.

Uncompromising clinical and industrial safety forms the foundation of these certified medical and ITE power supplies, each undergoing 100% burn-in testing to ensure lifetime field reliability. Operating as a Class I power system, the HPA65A features an extremely low earth leakage current alongside a 2 x MOPP (Means of Patient Protection) classification, guaranteeing maximum protection for patients, caregivers, and connected electronic devices. For robust component security and minimal system downtime, the series incorporates comprehensive hardware protections, including Overload Protection (OLP), Over Temperature Protection (OTP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), and crowbar mode Overvoltage Protection (OVP). The entire line conforms to major international safety standards, including IEC/EN/UL/CAN/CSA C22.2 62368-1 and IEC/EN/ANSI/AAMI ES/CSA C22.2 60601-1.
