If the Y capacitor cannot be removed during the manufacturing engineering process, the test will be done after some adjustments are made to prevent the test result from being influenced by the leakage currents. The adjustments include lowering the limits of the leakage currents or turning the AC into DC in accordance with the related standards (ex. 4000 VAC = 5656 VDC).

It is not allowed to change and reset the voltage of the power supply on the customer’s side. Sinpro’s power supplies are fully tested after the output voltage is set. Changing and resetting the voltage of the power supply may lead to abnormal electrical characteristics.

HPU10A series, HPU15 series, HPU25 series are Sinpro’s standard power supplies that are compliant with EN60601-1-11. These power supplies can go with the customer’s device without modification to apply for the EN60601-1-11 standard.

Considering the EMC and the design of wiring and grounding of every piece of equipment, Sinpro gives its standard products a sufficient allowance before applying for the certificates, which makes the products can be used in widespread applications.

To tighten the test during the certificate test, the input voltage range will be increased and decreased by 10% of the input range we had submitted originally; hence, we guarantee Sinpro’s power supplies are certified for 90-264 VAC input range while the submitted input range we offer when applying for a product safety certificate is 100-240 VAC.

The waterproof and dustproof IP rating of Sinpro’s standard external power supplies (wall adapters/wall warts) are IPX0 rated while HPU10, HPU15, HPU25 are IP22 rated, and SSU & LSU LED power supplies are IP68 rated.

Regarding the no-load power consumption and the power efficiency, the standard of CoC v5 tier 2 is more rigorous than the one of DOE Level VI which however has requirements for multiple output voltage.
